Perhaps you’re faced with a challenge, but you don’t know where to begin. We’re here to help you navigate that.

Mason Dixon uses a behavior analytic approach to help support individuals of all ages, families, caregivers, schools, and support teams by better understanding and addressing behavior, communication, learning, and educational challenges. Whether it be through our Family Support, IEP advocacy, behavior assessment, or school consultation services, we start by getting to know your story first. This helps us to tailor the support we provide to meet your needs.

What Happens When You Reach Out

1

Start With What’s Happening

Start with what is happening, what feels hard, or what you’re hoping to change. We’re not expecting you to know your needed service by name or explain everything perfectly.

2

We Get to Know Each Other

We’ll ask questions to understand your needs, goals, and the bigger picture. You’ll also learn about our experience and approach so we can both determine whether Mason Dixon feels like the right fit.

3

Decide on the Next Step Together

If we’re a good fit, we’ll talk through our recommendations and decide on the next step together. We’ll recommend only what we believe is useful, appropriate, and aligned with your needs.

Start the Conversation

Support That Fits You. Not a Program You Have to Fit Into.

One conversation may be enough. Or you may need Family Support, IEP or 504 advocacy, a behavior assessment or educational evaluation, school and district consultation, or a larger partnership.

There is no predetermined program or number of hours that we start with. We use evidence-based, applied behavior analysis (ABA) and experienced clinical judgment to determine what makes sense now for you, what comes next, and when it’s time to move forward. As needs change, our approach changes too.

What You Can Expect From Mason Dixon

Support starts with listening. We bring practical expertise, shared decisions, and a focus on the progress that matters to you.

Start the Conversation

We understand before we recommend.

We listen first and look at the whole picture, including behavior, learning, communication, family life, school, and what matters most to the person.

Caregivers are partners.

You know the person you support in ways no clinician ever can. Your experience, questions, concerns, and goals are an important part of every decision.

Expertise without the institutional feel.

You’ll get experienced clinical and educational guidance explained clearly, respectfully, and in a way that feels like a human conversation.

Progress, not dependence.

We focus on meaningful skills, growing confidence, and greater independence. Success isn’t measured by how long you stay with us, but by how confidently you can move forward.
